In Poland, the making of ornaments with straw dates back to the time when the only available materials for decorations were those that were found on the farm. During the beginning of the Christmas season, village folk would decorate homes creatively and ornately using straw, paper, yarn, and cloth ornaments. This set of ornaments are based on traditional Polish straw ornaments held together by string and ribbon for bows.
These ornaments are very different from the majority of modern Christmas decorations, and are a unique addition to any Christmas Tree. In a gold colored finish, the ornament designs include star/snowflake motifs, angel figurines, wreaths, and mini tree shapes
Straw products are based on traditional Polish folk designs however, in order to offer them at an affordable price levels, they are manufactured in China.
